Autobiography

Mukhtar Isatayev was born on October 24, 1975, in Almaty. After graduating from secondary school in Almaty, he entered the Faculty of Physics of Kazakh State University named after S.M. Kirov in 1992. In 1998, he completed his studies at the Faculty of Physics with a degree in "Physics". From 1996 to 1998, he studied in the master's program, and from 1998 to 2000 – in postgraduate studies at the same faculty. Since 2000, he has worked as an assistant at the Department of Electronics and Nonlinear Wave Processes of the Faculty of Physics of KazNU. Starting in 2001, he served as a lecturer and later as a senior lecturer at the Department of Heat Physics. His total work experience at the university is 25 years. In 2009, he defended his candidate dissertation on the topic: "Vortex structure of velocity and temperature fields of a flat jet confined by end walls", in the specialty 01.04.14 – heat physics and theoretical heat engineering. In 2024, he was awarded the academic title of Associate Professor by the Committee for Quality Assurance in Education and Science of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Since 1998, he has also worked part-time as a junior researcher at the Research Institute of Experimental and Theoretical Physics at Al-Farabi KazNU. Currently, he is actively engaged in scientific research, being the leader of a state-funded project and a scientific consultant of the "Zhas Galym" project. Since September 2018, he has held the position of Deputy Head of the Department of Heat Physics and Technical Physics for scientific research and international relations. At present, he is an associate professor of the Department of Heat Physics and Technical Physics, Faculty of Physics and Technology, at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.
